BIOGRAPHY LARRY L LAVENDER Mr. Larry L. Lavender is a highly successful Auctioneer and Certified Personal Property Appraiser with a broad and extensive blend of strategic business and leadership experience. Larry brings a unique perspective to the auction business with his many years of expertise. After graduating from Cedarville University with an Accounting Degree, Mr. Lavender began his career as a Tax Specialist at Hobart Corporation in Troy, Ohio. During his 35 years at Hobart, Larry held a number of management positions in tax and payroll. Mr. Lavender's breadth of tax experience spans several manufacturing industries. The hall mark of his career is guiding people and organizations through changes in state and federal tax laws. In addition to his financial expertise, Larry served as Township Fiscal Officer in his community of Elizabeth Township of over 30 years and has been an Entrepreneur as Past Owner of the Classique Beauty Salon in Troy, Ohio. He has also served the community as an Auctioneer and Certified Personal Property Appraiser earning the Distinguished Service Award for the City of Troy, Ohio for raising over 1 million plus dollars for non-profit groups. He has served as a Licensed Auctioneer for over 40 plus years and is a Personal Property Appraiser with the Certified Appraisers Guild of America. Mr. Lavender has held several board memberships including the Miami East Operating Levy Treasurer and Fiscal Officer of Elizabeh TWP. In addition, Larry has been recognized by America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals. Larry has received numerous awards on a national, state, county and city level for fund raisers through auctions. Larry's past assignment was with the City of Vandalia as a Tax Agent II encompassing 3 Cities. This has more than made him known for auction attendees.
